Credit Risk


The curriculum is structured to view the varying levels of credit risk management efforts, from risk identification to board level mitigation strategies. The training will enable opportunities for better risk forecasting and predicting. The programme is designed for executive level participants and participants who have reasonable experience in credit risk management


All master class are designed to work with a required level of intensity dictated by the client who for most part are executive members of their institutions. However, for a general view the programme has a minimum facilitation period of 2days (crash course).The course at any intensity will is designed to address the following Credit Risk Management subject matters

  • Credit Risk Life Cycle: – Review of cycle involving the access to credit by borrowers
  • Country Risk Assessment– An overview of domestic risks which could create risk to borrowers and lenders
  • Qualitative and Quantitative Credit Analysis Techniques– An empirical approach to credit risk analysis and assessment
  • Review and Approvals

  8. Prepare credit approval notes that are succinct and comprehensive
  9. Access early warning signs of credit quality deterioration for corrective action
