What is RIMAN?
RIMAN is an acronym for Risk Management Association of Nigeria formerly known as Credit Risk Managers Association (CRIMA). The Association was formed in 1999 and incorporated in 2000 to promote and advance best practices in Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and related disciplines among members who are engaged in lending businesses or operations.

The membership of RIMAN is broadly categorized into two, namely institutional and individual membership.

The individual membership is exclusively for interested individuals, this is further categorized into Senior Associate and Associate Member, depending on the applicant's or prospective member's career experience and qualification.
- Senior Associate: Senior Manager Level and above (=N=30,000)
- Associate Member: Manager level and below (=N=20,000)
- Student Member: (=N=5,000)
The institutional membership is open to financial service institutions (i.e. banks, discount houses, micro finance institutions, primary mortgage institutions, pension fund mangers, service providers, finance houses, insurance firms) engaged in the management of financial and correlated risks i.e. lending operations, risk management and related disciplines.
